18 Jun Coincidence? I think not.
One of my favorite experiences as a coach is hearing about people’s success stories—those moments when they get unstuck and things begin to fall into place.
There’s a shift that happens. People connect to the power of the abundant universe, and suddenly, the right opportunities show up at just the right time.
This happened recently with a client who launched a new bookkeeping business. A few days after our coaching call, she emailed to say, “Guess what? My friend just called me out of the blue and gave me a referral!”
It seemed like a coincidence. But I wasn’t surprised, because I know there’s no such thing as “out of the blue.”
When something good happens — an opportunity comes your way, a client says yes, the exact help you needed appears — it’s not random. It’s not magic. And it’s definitely not a coincidence.
That’s you, making it happen.
When you have clarity and really commit to something, you start aligning everything around it: your energy, your time, your words, and your actions.
And when you brush it off as luck or coincidence, you’re acting like a bystander in your own success story.
Why not own that power?
By staking your claim and recognizing your part in the success — however “random” it may seem — you build confidence in your ability to create what you want.
So next time something “unexpected” goes right, acknowledge yourself. Say: I did that. That came from something I set in motion.
Because when you own your role in the good stuff, you reinforce your ability to do it again. And again. And again.
